Craig’s debut single, ELECTROVATOR, tells the story of a towering “Noah’s Ark” space elevator built in only three months. The moody synth and guitar atmospheric tones represent the elevator’s role as human’s last lifeline: After a catastrophic event, Earth is imploding, and the only way out is up. But with only a small team building a space station needing to support life, how long do we have? And where can we go from there?
________
DEFENDER continues the epic story from Craig’s debut single ELECTROVATOR, telling a biblical-like story of a giant space elevator transporting the last humans. Man is left with little time to evacuate Earth. Heading for shelter in a makeshift space station just outside the dying planet’s atmosphere, Craig has to defend the delicate structure threatened by outsiders who believe that human species’ time has expired. In the event the space station is compromised, only the Moon can save us. But do we have the resources to get there? Slow grinding synth drones are juxtaposed with fast paced wild west gunslinger vibes and gloomy soaring guitar harmonies for this epic theme song.
________
To the Moon is the third installment to Craig’s musical sci-fi saga. Daily life on the space station is bleak. Some of the humans are going out of their minds and want out, knowing there is nowhere else to go, they plot to destroy the station and bring an end to their emptiness. Nevertheless, a helper android and its dog-bot companion stare out at the moon hopeful and almost in love. Every night, the moon serenades them in its luminance as it reminds them of their lost Earth and better times. This song kicks into high gear, then slowly calms as the vocals take over. Echos of reverb bounce back as if from the moon in response to their calls. Light, fluffy synths bounce rhythmically to lighten the moody, slow build to the chorus. The final vocals float away into the eternal emptiness.
